Painted illustration: a dark room high above a city at night. Two cats sit on the window sill looking out at lit towers, a great arch-shaped building and expressways streaked with traffic; a lamp, candles and a glass of iced tea glow in the room.

Painted illustration: a desk by a rain-streaked window at dusk. Two cats sit on the sill watching the city and the river light up under heavy clouds; a desk lamp, a laptop and a mug of coffee are on the desk.

Painted illustration: a lamplit room on a rainy night. Two cats sit among the blankets by the window, looking out at an old town of tiled roofs and a five-storey pagoda in the rain.

Painted illustration: a warm room on a snowy evening. Two cats sleep curled together on a blanket by the window; outside, snow falls on the rooftops and Tokyo Tower is lit.
